PHILL COLLINS

An experienced and versatile musician, Phill has been employed in a wide range of gigs and musical projects as both jazz pianist and keyboardist. His own projects have included Opus Pocus Big Band ; The Phill Collins Trio - an original modern music ensemble, The Red Hot Jazz Trio - a Cork based group specialising in well known jazz and funk repertoire, and his most recent project - the Waterford Jazz Weekender; an initiative to promote jazz in the city of Waterford. Phill also lectures at the South East Technological University's Waterford Campus, and has helped many promising students graduate and achieve their own successful careers in music.
