This album was my first attempt to define my own compositional voice within jazz.

Myself, Chris Macarthy (bass) and Fionn O'Ceallachain (drums) developed my ideas collaboratively as a trio and it became very much a product of the band, which I found quite satisfying. We went on to play in various venues across the South of Ireland with the trio and enjoyed some great responses to the music.
